Is there a way to check, if a car im going to buy is stolen,before I buy it?

A simple way to do this,is call the DMV of the state you are buying the car from and also call the DMV in your state if you are transferring the car to a different state.Give them the vin number.They will either tell you if : The car is stolen, who still is the legal owner,or No record on file.

What is "No Record on file"?

This means the car has no previous flags, the car is clear for you to get a title.

What state does your service not work in?

My car is a rusty pile of junk,can I get a clear title on it?

Yes,you can get a clear title.

I have a project car and It wont be ready for at least a couple of years,will you still be around then?

Many of states are cracking down on these older cars.They do not want them back on the road.Mainly because of emmisions tests and air bag safety issues.I am at the mercy of the state.Their will be one day when I cannot do this anymore.Title your car as soon as you can.

Do you take credit cards?

NO !  I did when I first started.1 customer got 2 titles from me.Payment went through and as soon as he got the titles,he registured the cars in his name and called the credirt card and disputed the charges,and I was never able to get the money from the credit card company !

Are you able to do KIT CARS?

NO !   I had 2 customers I tried doing Kit Cars for and the State rejected the Kit Cars.Sorry Jerry Pavell and Authur Church ! I am not able to do any kind of kit cars.They must have the original factory vin.
